slowing down in Saturnia
aligning with the autumn equinox
September 18 - 25, 2027
Saturnia, Italy
an invitation to align
with the yin season
As summer softens into autumn, Italy exhales. The summer crowds thin, the evening light turns a glittery golden hue and the land settles into the slower rhythm of harvest: long lunches, cozy evenings and nothing pressing on the daily “to-do.”
Slowing Down in Saturnia is an invitation to surrender and move with the natural shift of the seasons.
Held in the off-the-beaten-path landscape of Maremma and anchored by the autumn equinox (when day and night stand in perfect balance) this week mirrors the turning of the season. Days are slow, evenings cozy and the practices are yin-focused, gentle and grounding.
We’ll soak in two very different thermal waters: sulphur springs that release and purify and magnesium-rich waters that soothe and nourish. We’ll wander medieval villages carved into the cliffs, say goodbye to summer with a day on the sea and mark the equinox with a sunset dinner followed by sitting together in ceremony.
Somewhere along the journey that Jackie has carefully curated… there’s space created within. Through time in nature, shared meals, mindful movement and intentional rest, you remember who you are when the noise falls away ~ and you go home a little more yourself.

The region is known for its meat, so steak and local cured meats will be on the menu, alongside abundant seafood options ~ from crudo (raw) to spaghetti vongole (clams) to simple, fresh, grilled local fish.
Dairy is also a staple here, including sheep’s cheeses and fresh ricotta.
