join Jackie on her retreats in Saturnia, Italy ~ a quiet threshold into embodied living
Jackie’s retreats are designed to teach the body what relaxation feels like ~ where ease, joy, and pleasure are part of the practice.
shifting from spiritual healing to embodied living
Jackie’s retreats are intentionally curated for those who feel ready to step into an embodied life. These retreats aren’t about “fixing” yourself, optimizing anything or chasing a breakthrough. Instead, they procure the perfect conditions for the body to soften, settle, and remember what ease feels like.
While moments of insight or healing may naturally arise throughout the week (and we will lovingly hold space for them!) “healing” is not the focus. What stays with you is the way your body softens into rest and feeling held… a feeling you can embody and return to long after the retreat ends.
To support this, Jackie thoughtfully curates the experience from the moment you sign up. A pre-retreat preparation guide walks you through everything you need to know, including a packing guide, so nothing feels last-minute or overwhelming.
Transport awaits you on arrival the airport and Jackie intentionally sets the pace of the days so you don’t have to think ahead or manage logistics. There’s room to move slowly, to rest, to explore, and to simply be ~ without needing to plan what comes next.
Jackie also creates a retreat workbook that summarizes everything you experience, practice, and share throughout the week, so you don’t even need to take notes or journal (unless you want to, of course!). You’re invited to lean into trust, knowing that what’s been planned is nourishing, supportive, and likely also a stunning photo op.
your host…
Jackie is a Spiritual Embodiment, Health + Wellness Coach, an entrepreneur of nearly two decades, an eldest daughter and eldest granddaughter, a lifelong self-starter and someone who learned how to hold responsibility long before she learned about nervous system regulation or how to rest.
Her relationship with ease, relaxation, and pleasure has been a lived journey ~ shaped by years of building businesses, navigating a deep spiritual path, and eventually realizing that embodiment isn’t something you think your way into… it’s something you experience, practice and something you live.
Her retreats are rooted in a simple philosophy: what the body learns through lived experience can be carried into everyday life.
This belief is deeply influenced by her connection to Italy ~ a place that has become both a teacher and a home. Here in Italy: living well includes nourishing yourself, savoring beauty, and finding pleasure in the everyday ~ without needing a specific reason or “special”occasion.
Hosting, curating experiences and setting a scene are some of Jackie’s greatest joys! She considers planning the details of her retreats her personal olympics.
She brings together structure and spaciousness ~ thoughtfulness and freedom ~ intention and ease ~ guidance and autonomy, so guests can arrive, exhale, and experience what it feels like to be held.
the location.
Saturnia holds a special way of living in a way that can be felt almost immediately. Located in Maremma, an off the beaten path region in southern Tuscany ~ things move at a pace that feels noticeably slower (even within Italy!) and that slowness naturally invites the body to align with and mirror the pace.
There is less stimulation in Maremma, less urgency, less light pollution (you can’t believe how beautiful the night sky is!) and far fewer demands on your attention. This environment allows the nervous system to naturally soften without needing to be guided.
the springs.
The land of Maremma alone would be enough to support us ~ but we have to talk about the beautiful, ethereal, practically other-worldly hot springs!
Rich in naturally occurring minerals, the water offers a simple reminder that nourishment and replenishment don’t always require effort, intention, or improvement. Sometimes rest and rejuvenation can simply come from being held in warm water and allowing the body to receive.
Soaking becomes less about “doing something for your health” and more about remembering how the body was designed to restore itself without our intervention, obsession or micromanagement.
the villa
Our private villa is a metaphor in itself ~ a beautiful blend of traditional, cozy Tuscan charm and thoughtful, bold modern design. It’s a reminder that we don’t have to choose just one way of living. We can be both grounded and growing, simple and elevated. The villa reminds us that holding contradictions is part of an embodied life.
The villa is also an art gallery of sorts ~ filled with artwork, objects, and history from around the world.. layered into the space itself. You could spend years here and still notice something new each day!
Wild rosemary bushes, ancient olive trees, lavender, sage and towering cypress trees are situated sporadically around the 75-acre organic farm. The whole region is a protected nature preserve and the peaceful villa is surrounded by nature in every direction. Slowing down unfolds naturally ~ everything encourages you to slow down, exhale, and sink in.

a recap of 2025’s Slowing Down in Saturnia:
“My favorite part of the retreat was being able to completely let go and not have to plan or organize anything. Everything was thoughtfully taken care of. From the meals to the activities to the transportation, which allowed me to be fully present and just enjoy the experience. As someone who’s used to managing and coordinating things in my day-to-day life, that sense of ease and care was such a gift.”
